Mentor I'd choose

Right now I feel like I don’t have any good people to ask for a recommendation from except for the one from my high school. Although from there are some very good recommendations, but as goes for college may not be the best choice. I do have the formation of some recommendation people in the making but so far I would need to work on that more before asking that of them.
If I had to choose someone from college standing I would maybe talk with my math tutor or math professor. My math tutor isn’t quite out of college but knows me on the personal bases and that would make a good person of recommendation. My math professor on the other hand is out of college which would make them a good candidate but doesn’t know me on the personal bases as well.
I feel that is good to have someone of higher power, like a professor, and someone who knows you personally and professionally. These are good to have in a person of recommendation to ensure the best recommendation. It’s like they say it’s not what you know it’s who you know.
