WC FFA Vice President Rules!!!!!!!!!!!

Accord to an online dictionary “Best” is defined as “of the highest quality, excellence, or standing: the best work; the best students” (dictionary.com). I believe that my best falls under the highest excellence or standing, which would be my year as Vice President of the Webster City FFA Chapter. I use my great leadership skills to get my chapter involved in as many activities as we could. This position made me feel empowered, and in charge even though I was not the president.
My senior year of high school as a fourth year FFA member and previous officer, I thought I would run to be the president of the Webster City FFA Chapter. Although, was not elected to become president of the Webster City FFA Chapter, I was honored to take the Vice President position. As Vice President I had just as much responsibilities as the president, I made Webster City FFA a chapter. Without me, we wouldn’t have been considered a chapter. The chapter would have lacked the grueling work necessary to register to be an official chapter.
My leadership skills lead our chapter to get involved with anything and everything. I created the 100 page Programs of Activities book need to register to be an official chapter. On top of that I organized a week of fun activities for the chapter and the school to get involved with for National FFA Week. I also applied for the Iowa Degree given out at State Convention. In order receive this I filled out a detailed 60 page application to be submitted to the State FFA.
I felt in charge of our chapter even though I was not the president because I was more membered based power and our president was more paperwork and organization based. I felt on top of the world when be presented my Iowa Degree in front of 8,000 people from all across the state.
At my best is leading my organization of FFA member to success with the highest quality, excellence, and standing. I was the Webster City FFA Vice President 2008-2009 and Iowa FFA Degree Award Winner. I am number one in the book of Webster City FFA and my heart.
